Kathleen Duffy (née Ruddy),

Kilkenny, Castlebar and formerly of Ardoone, Belmullet (on the 5th December, 2023) - peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Dearly loved wife of James who died in August 2023 and also predeceased by her parents Anthony and May and her sisters Una and Mary.

Kathleen will be forever missed by her adoring children; Kathryn, Maria, Noreen, Barbara and James, her brothers Paddy and Eamonn and her sisters Bridget, Nora and Phyllis; sons in law Kevin, Rait, Olivier and Colin and her daughter in law Kathy, her fifteen grandchildren and her three great grandchildren, her sisters in law, brothers in law, many nephews and nieces as well as her extended family, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

May she rest in peace.

Kathleen’s funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Sunday, 10th December at 11.30am for her Funeral Mass at 12noon, followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium arriving for Service at 4.00pm.

The Funeral Mass will be live streamed on www.churchtv.ie/castlebar or you can listen to it in Castlebar on the Castlebar Parish Radio 105.3FM.

How sorry I was to hear of the death of Kathleen RIP so soon after her husband James to her Son and Daughters and all her Grandchildren and her Brothers and Sisters my deepest condolences to all. I have known Kathleen for years, she was one fine lady I stayed in her house when I was on holidays and always made me welcome and spoke on the phone many times and it's not so long ago I spoke to her. I'm sure she is in heaven with all her friends.
