Ivor Henderson,
Moyne, Ballaghaderreen, Co. Roscommon and formerly of Knockmoyle, Loughrea, Co. Galway - February 2nd 2021 – Peacefully in the loving care of Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife Evelyn, sons Michael (Mohill), David (New York) and Ivor (Castlerea), daughters Marian Higgins (Fairymount), Margaret (Peggy) McCrann (Aughurine) and Evelyn Daire (Cloonfinglas), sisters Peggy Fahy (Knockmoyle), Christine Cox (Birmingham), his fifteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, sons-in-law Jimmy, Eamonn and Michael, daughter-in-law Bernie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
May He Rest in Peace.
Ivor will be removed from The Sharkey Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Friday morning at 11.30 to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Fairymount (via Moyne) arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 12.30 followed by interment in Fairymount Cemetery.
However, in line with Government and H.S.E advice regarding public gatherings, a small private funeral will be held.
The Henderson family would ask that over the coming days, everyone who knew him would take some time to light a candle or say a prayer in his memory.
