Mexico City and formerly of Carratigue, Ballina, Co. Mayo (27th May 2022)

Predeceased by her sisters by her sisters Mary in infancy and Sally Flynn (Chicago, U.S.A.), brothers Mick Monaghan (Glouchester, England), Tony Monaghan (Stonefield, Carratigue), Martin Monaghan (Stonefield, Carratigue and London) and Paddy Monaghan (Liverpool).

Beloved wife of Harry Patton and dear mother to Tom, Vincent, James, Colleen and Seán.

She will be sadly missed by her heartbroken family, sisters Kathleen Caffrey (Belmullet) and Margaret Barrett (Birmingham, England), brothers Johnny Monaghan (Belmullet) and Vincent Monaghan (Chicago, U.S.A.), daughters in law, son in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. Bridget will be sadly missed by many around the World.

Bridget’s Funeral will take place in Mexico City on Sunday, 29^th May 2022.

Bridget was a beautiful lady who opened her heart and her home to anyone from Ireland who visited Mexico. I was privileged to have spent time with herself and Harry. You were both so kind and generous to me, but most especially to my aunt, Sr. Máire who spent many holidays with you. The help and kindness you gave her was above and beyond what anyone could expect and it made her life in Mexico so much better. When she needed help, Bridget and Harry were always there. Bridget's was one of a kind,she personified what Irish people are known for- The Céad Míle Fáilte she was known for, her work for the Irish community and her great love for her family. I hope Harry and family will be comforted with the treasured memories you have of Bridget. May she rest in peace. Go ndéana Dia grásta uirthi.
