Massbrook, Bofeenaun, Ballina, Co Mayo (7th October 2021).

The life of this joyful and vibrant young man has been cut short tragically aged 28 years.

Predeceased by his baby sister Catherine his granny Mary Kennedy and his grandad, Sean Barrett.

Tom is deeply mourned and sadly missed by his heartbroken Mum Cathy, Dad Eddie, brothers Sean, James, Chris, Pat (his twin), Jack, Noel, grandmother Ann Barrett, grandad John Kennedy, sisters in law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Reposing at Leonard’s funeral home Lahardane on Tuesday evening from 6pm to 8pm with removal to St Patricks Church Lahardane.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 2pm followed by a private cremation.

No flowers please. Donations if desired to the Kevin Bell repatriation trust.

Tom brought brightness with him wherever he went and to whoever he met on his life’s journey.

As a family we would like everyone to wear some colour in their clothing to celebrate his life.

Today I watched your service for Tom on my I.pod. I feel your pain and I also feel all of you were so grieved at 3.15pm while Toms brothers were telling us of Toms life, to notice the sun came through the stained glass window behind the alter and rested on the Coffin making it look like a silver coffin. More remarkable was there was no sun to be seen here in Castlebar. As soon as Tom was wheeled out of the church that spot went dark again. I felt he was a shining angel. It was very remarkable. I wanted to share it with you all. The picture of it might help you all get through the dark days ahead. Rip Tom.
