Castlehill, Ballycroy - peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his brother Michael (Mickie).

Seamus will be sadly missed by his loving his wife Nellie, son Sean, daughters Helen, Cathy and Mary Margaret, sons-in-law Noel and Michael, daughter-in-law Marian, grandchildren Sean, Adrian, Katie, Aileen, James, Elaine, Ailish, Michael, Kevin and Eva, his great grandson Shay, brothers Sean and Martin (England), sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and his wide circle of friends.

May His Soul Rest In Peace.

Removal from his residence on Wednesday morning at 11.30 for Funeral Mass at 12 noon in The Holy Family Church, Ballycroy with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be live streamed on Holy Family Church Ballycroy facebook page.

House private please.

Please adhere to current HSE guidelines, social distancing, the wearing of masks and no handshaking.

Despite my dad Martin living in England over 50 years him and Seamus always remained close with Ballycroy being the only place dad calls home, I’m sure that’s because he still had a much loved brother to go back too at the homeplace. My favourite childhood memories are the family trips to Ireland to stay with our Uncle Seamus and Auntie Nellie who always made it feel like a second home. He was always the first out the door to welcome us and the last outside waving us off when we would head for the boat back to England. I feel very blessed to have had such a gentleman as an Uncle and to experience such lovely memories staying in Castlehill. It only seems like yesterday I was a kid sat in the shop part of Clearys with everyone. I’d love to go back and repeat one of them days again. Il treasure all of them memories forever. RIP to a lovely uncle. Sending so much sympathy to our Auntie Nellie and cousins for the great loss to them and Ballycroy xx
