May Kathleen's kind and gentle soul rest in peace.
The parish of Dunmore has lost a noble soul with the passing of Kathleen Hannon (nee Gleeson). The home of Miko and Kathleen was always a welcoming home where the old ways were cherished in such a special way and passed on to the next generation. The torch is in good hands and will in turn burn bright in the hearts of the younger generation too. Good and decent people rooted in the ethos of the rural West. Kathleen loved life and enjoyed it to the full. She was blessed with a lovely nature and generous spirit. Thank you, Kathleen, and all your family for being such truly loyal listeners to my shows on Midwest Radio down the years. Remembering all the Hannon family circle and friends at this time. This world is not my home I'm just a-passing through / My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue / The angels beckon me from heaven's open door / And I can't feel at home in this world anymore.
family on the death of Kathleen. May she rest in peace.
May she Rest in Peace
Thinking of you all at this sad time...
May her gently soul rest in eternal peace
