Martin (Christopher) Loftus,
Breaffy, Castlebar and formerly of Thomas Street, Castlebar (28th February 2022) - peacefully after a short illness in University Hospital Galway.
We are heartbroken to announce that the death has occurred of Martin Christopher Loftus - passed away peacefully on the 28th of February 2022 at Galway University Hospital after a short illness borne with dignity, courage and acceptance and surrounded by his loving family.
Beloved husband of Marie (nee Gibbons), devoted and adored father of Ruth and Siobhan.
Predeceased by his infant daughter Marianne born an angel, parents Aggie and Pat, sister Mary Durkan, brother Patsy Foy.
Martin will be dearly missed by his loving wife, adoring daughters, sister Antoinette, brother Tommy, sisters-in-law Una, Mairin, Martina and Norma, brothers-in-law Padraig, Michael and David, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, relatives, neighbours, former teaching colleagues in Cornanool National School and his many dear friends.

Remains reposing at the Thomas Street Funeral Home this Wednesday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock.
Removal on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock for Funeral Mass at 11.30 in the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar followed by a cremation ceremony in Shannon Crematorium at 4 o’clock.
Martin’s Funeral Mass will be streamed live at churchtv.ie/castlebar or listened to in Castlebar on the Parish Radio Channel 105.3FM
