Rita McLucas nee Commins,

Killerduff, Ballycastle.

Sadly missed by Frank and Elaine Scanlon, her sisters Breege and Nuala, brother-in-law George McLucas and his wife Kathleen; her nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends,

R.I.P.

Removal from Lynn's Funeral Home, Killala on Saturday at 12.30pm to St. Bridget's Church, Ballycastle for Mass at 1pm, followed by burial in Ballycastle cemetery.

The Funeral Mass can be viewed on the Ballycastle Facebook page.

Although a native of Castlebar I have very fond memories of my childhood, holidays spent with my uncle Joe in my mother's home place, nearby Ballyglass. Rita and her late husband Josie fed my uncle Joe and I on numerous occasions, often late at night. I forget where we were all coming from. Rita had the best chipper in Killerduff. Fond memories surely, the good old days. Gone but never to be forgotten. May her gentle soul rest in peace
