Finbar Cullotty,

15 Seaside, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and formerly of Tubberjarlath, Tuam, Co. Galway and Handsworth, Birmingham, England peacefully at the Tí Aire Nursing Home, Belmullet on 10th September 2021.

Beloved husband of Mary (nee Donohue), formerly of Ballinaboy and dear father of Joe (Wicklow), Clare (Tarmon, Blacksod), Chris (Belmullet) and Grace (Cork).

He will sadly missed by his heartbroken family - brothers Gerry (Birmingham), sisters Joan (Birmingham) and Philomena (Longford), sons in law Paul and Martin, daughters in law Meabh and Dervilia, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

May His Gentle Soul Rest in Peace.

Remains will repose at his residence on Saturday from 12 noon until the removal on Monday morning at 10.15 to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock followed by burial in Glencastle New Cemetery.

Family flowers only pleased, donations in lieu if desired to the “Western Alzheimer’s Association”, c/o McDonnell Funeral Directors, Belmullet.

In keeping with current Government advice and H.S.E. guidelines regarding public gatherings, Finbar’s Funeral Mass and funeral services will be for family, relatives, close friends and neighbours with a maximum of fifty people in attendance at Funeral Mass.

For those who would like to pay their respects as the funeral cortege passes through the town and villages enroute to the church on Monday, please stand in a socially distanced manner on the roadsides, outside the church and cemetery, ensuring public health and safety is being upheld to the highest standard.

The Cullotty family appreciate your understanding at this difficult time.
