Mary passed away peacefully into the gloaming in the company of her daughters Alanna, Cróna and Eanya and serenaded from afar by her siblings Tommy, sisters Rose, Anne, Breege, Eibhlín and Kathleen Angela.

Predeceased by Robert, she will be sadly missed by both the MacBride and Gallagher clans, by brothers-in-law Russ and Gerry, grandchildren Sonny and Robyn, son-in-law Steve, sisters-in-law Treasa and Lucy, and brother-in-law Pat, Gene, Paddy and John and by her many nieces and nephews.

A gifted teacher, talented artist and Gael go smior, Mary was involved in the communities of Creeslough, Currane, Achill and Mountcharles and had a wide and eclectic circle of friends, neighbours and colleagues that the family would like to thank for all their unerring support.

In accordance with current guidelines, Mary’s private funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 15th at 11.00am at the Our Lady Queen of the Universe Church, Currane .Burial will follow in Polranny cemetery.
