Knock Road, Ballyhaunis - peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Jim and Annie, brother Pat, sister Ronnie and nephew Michael.

Beloved husband of Moyra and treasured father of Berniece and Mark, son-in-law John, daughter-in-law Lorraine.

Cherished by his 7 grandchildren Kate, Sam, James, Isabelle, Darragh, Jane and Éamonn, sister Paula, sister-in-law Mary, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his home F35KI93 on Thursday evening from 4 o’clock until 7 o’clock

Funeral will arrive to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyhaunis on Friday morning for Funeral Mass at 11 o’clock with burial afterwards in Granlahan cemetery.

Funeral mass can be viewed live on Ballyhaunis parish webcam or listened to on Ballyhaunis parish radio

House private on Friday morning please .

We would like to offer our sincere condolences to Noel’s family , his wife Moyra and his son Mark and daughter Bernice , the extended Patterson family and also to all his former colleagues on Main st . The Patterson’s were the vets to my Grandfather and uncle over many years in times gone . First it was Pat and later Noel as I recall . My mother ( Mary Carroll ) used to speak fondly of Noel in his student day‘s and his early driving days (early 1960’s in and around Ballinlough) . I think his first car was his Dad’s ( Jim Patterson’s) . He was every farmers friend by all accounts . So Noel rest in peace on the side of the hill near the place of your birth, only a few hills away . Enjoyed our chats over the years whenever our paths crossed in Carrick or Ballyhaunis. Simple events on the day become great memories with the passage of time .Cathal and Cathy Carroll .
