Michael Gaynor (better known as Mike)
Sunnyside, Queens, New York & formerly of Ballytrasna, Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo 31st July 2021 - peacefully in the loving care of the doctors, nurses and carers of the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Wilmington N. Carolina after a long illness bravely borne.
Predeceased by his father John, his sister Margaret Joan and his brother Frank.
Mike will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family. Dearly loved son of Patty, brothers Sean and Tom (Ballinrobe) Noel (NY) Oliver (London) Sisters Mary Snype (Strokestown Co. Roscommon) Anne (Texas) and Teresa (Ballinrobe). Brother-in-law Mike Snype (Strokestown) and sisters-in-law Ruth (NY) Martina (London). Nephew's and Nieces John Lorcan and Abbey (NY) Padraig, Sean and Aine (London) all his cousins, work colleagues and a wide circle of friends.
May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Funeral Mass will be offered at a later date in Queen of Angels Church, 44-04 Skillman Ave, New York.
Cremation is private and afterwards returning to his final resting place in his native Ballinrobe with Mass for the repose of his soul in St. Mary's Church Ballinrobe.
