Died peacefully at Mayo University Hospital.
Pre-deceased by his parents Brigid and Thomas, brothers Joe, Michael and T.J. and sister Teresa, Sister Mary of the Sacred Heart (Sisters of Charity)
Sadly missed by his brothers Fr. Patrick and Fr. Malachy (Columban Missionaries in Korea), sisters-in-law May, Bea-Anne and Nancy; nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, Columban Missionary colleagues, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Requiescat in Pace.
Fr. John will repose in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Tuesday from 2pm until 4pm and later that evening at Templemore Lodge, Straide (F26 T623) from 6pm until 8pm.
Removal on Wednesday to St. Peter and Paul’s Church, Straide arriving for Concelebrated Funeral Mass at 12noon followed by Interment in the Church grounds.
