Nora Kennedy nee Jordan,
‘Carraig’, Rathbawn Road, Castlebar and formerly of McHale Road, Castlebar - very peacefully after a short illness surrounded by her loving family at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar.
Daughter of the late Mamie and Willie Jordan.
Dearly loved wife of Chris; loving mother of John, Brian, Christine and Catherine; adored grandma of Luke, Ryan, Lauren, Willow and Ruby; sister of Paddy (New York), Stephen (London), Mary Kelly (Castlebar) and the late Anne and Teasie.
She will be greatly missed by her heartbroken husband, her daughters, sons, sons-in-law Barry and Paul, daughters-in-law Majella and Claire, brothers, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives, former work colleagues, relatives and many friends.
Nora was 68 years of age and worked as a Supervisor at Mayo University Hospital. She was highly regarded by her work colleagues and was a caring and compassionate person. She will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Nora will repose at the Kilcoyne Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar on Wednesday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock.
The funeral will arrive at the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar on Thursday for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in the New Cemetery, Castlebar.
House private to family and close friends only please.
Government and HSE Covid19 guidelines will apply including social distancing and no handshaking.
