Ray Dungan,
Carrowkelly, Ballina and formerly of Santry, Dublin - suddenly, but peacefully at home, with his wife Renagh by his side; known far and wide as "The Hippy Chippy"; a gifted singer and a talented carpenter, a singer, storyteller, a friend to many, great company, sometime Dublin supporter, always St. Patrick on the 17th March, president of Killala Bay Folk Club, he leaves behind a huge legacy.
Predeceased by his brother Jim.
He will be greatly missed by Renagh, sisters Pat and Jean, brother-in-law Jim, sister-in-law Peggie, nieces Colette and Ita, his nephew Colman, and everyone who spent time in his company, his workmate PJ, relatives, neighbours and his many friends.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Lynn's Funeral Home, Killala on Thursday from 5pm to 7pm.
Mass in St Patrick's Church, Killala on Friday at 10.30am followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan on Saturday at 2pm.
House private please.
