Bridie Gibbons nee Gaynard

Tallagh Road, Belmullet, Co. Mayo -  peacefully at the Aras Deirbhle Nursing Home, Belmullet on 16^th May 2021.

Predeceased by her husband Frank, sister Mary and brother in law Michael, nephew Tommy Cawley and grandnephew Tommy Cawley Junior.

She will be sadly missed by her family, nephews Noel Cawley (Tallagh Road, Belmullet) and Pat Cawley (Muing, Belmullet), niece Geraldine Lavelle (Carnerock, Belmullet), grandnieces, grandnephews, relatives, staff of the Aras Deirbhle Nursing Home who cared for her so well, neighbours and friends.

Removal from McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Tuesday evening at 6.45 with funeral cortege travelling via Tallagh Road, Muing Road, Blacksod Road and through Carnfowler enroute to the Church of the Holy Family, Carne, arriving at 7.30 approximately.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon followed by burial in Tarmoncarra Cemetery.

Donations in lieu if desired to the Aras Deirbhle Nursing Home, Belmullet, c/o McDonnell Funeral Directors, Belmullet.

In keeping with current Government advice and H.S.E. guidelines regarding public gatherings, Bridie’s funeral will be private to family and close friends only, with a maximum of fifty people in attendance.

For those who would like to pay their respects as the funeral cortege passes through the town on Tuesday evening and enroute from the Church to the Cemetery on Wednesday, please stand in a socially distanced manner on the streets, roadsides, outside the Church and Cemetery, ensuring public health and safety is being upheld to the highest standard.

The Gibbons, Cawley and Lavelle families appreciate your understanding at this difficult time.
