Eamon Mangan,

The Paddock, Golf Course Road, Carne, Belmullet and formerly of Main Street, Belmullet, Co. Mayo and Doohoma - peacefully at his family home on 15^th February 2021.

Predeceased by his brothers John and Michael and his sister Mary.

Beloved husband of Pauline and dear father of James and Bridie.

He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, daughter in law Ann, granddaughters Leanne and Merissa, grandson Eamon and his wife Susan and great grandchild Evie, sister Bridgie Joyce (Connecticut, U.S.A.) and Ann Monaghan  (Connecticut, U.S.A.), nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Remains will leave McDonnells Funeral Home, Belmullet on Wednesday afternoon at 12.30 arriving at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Belmullet for Funeral Mass at 1 o’clock followed by burial in Emlybeg Cemetery.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass of Eamon Mangan will be available for viewing on the McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page with viewing of all other funeral services available from 7 o’clock on Wednesday evening. 

In keeping with current Government advice and H.S.E. guidelines regarding public gatherings, Eamon’s funeral will be private for immediate family only.

For those who would like to pay their respects as the funeral cortege passes through the town and enroute to the church, please stand in a socially distanced manner on the streets, roadsides, outside the church and cemetery ensuring public health and safety is being upheld to the highest standard.

The Mangan family appreciate your support and understanding at this difficult time.

Memorial Mass for the soul of Eamon will be held at a later date. For those who cannot attend due to restrictions, please leave a personal message for the family on the condolence form on this webpage.
