James (Jimmy) Kilbane, 

Mervue, Galway and formerly of Achill, Co. Mayo.

James passed away on Tuesday, 13th April, 2021 and he will be sadly missed by his wife Geraldine (née Lavelle), daughters Emma Harte (Monaghan), Aisling Joyce (Headford) and Carol (Mervue), his sons-in-law Damian and Kevin and his adored grandchildren Joshua and Reese, his sisters Sally, Kathleen and Sheila and his brother Michael, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, the extended Kilbane and Lavelle family, past colleagues, neighbours and good friends.

A private family funeral will be celebrated for James on Friday, 16th April, 2021 in accordance with current Covid-19 restrictions.

The attendance at the Church, outside the Church door and at the cemetery will be limited to 10 people.

House strictly private.

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 12 noon at the Church of the Holy Family, Mervue on Friday and this Mass will be streamed live if you would like to participate online.

Following Mass James will be laid to rest in Rinville cemetery, Oranmore.
