Michael Shannon (Mick),

12 Moyvale Lawn, Sligo Road, Ballina, Co. Mayo and formerly of Cartron Point, Sligo and Derrylin, Co. Fermanagh.

Predeceased by his loving wife Mary, sisters Philomena, Eileen and Betty, brothers Jack, Joe and Brian.

Mick will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving family, daughters Elizabeth Yates (Leicestershire), Bernie O'Donnell (Enniscrone) and Dolores O'Boyle (Ardagh), sons Michael (Drumcliff, Co. Sligo) and Joe (Drumcliff, Co. Sligo), daughter-in-law Marie, sons-in-law Robert, Neil, Donald and Harold, his 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, sisters Sis (Enniskillen), Rosie and Biddy (Coventry, England), nieces, nephews, cousins and his many traditional music friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Mick will repose at his home, 12 Moyvale Lawn, Sligo Road, Ballina, Co. Mayo (F26R8K7) this Tuesday, 17th January from 3pm until 8pm.

Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday, 18th January at 12.30pm in the Church of the Assumption, Brackloonagh, Ardagh, Co. Mayo (F26A003).

Burial afterwards in Lisheen Cemetery.
