Mary Davy née Harraghy,

Carracastle, Co. Mayo - peacefully in her 88th year at Mayo University Hospital after a short illness.

Pre-deceased by her husband John and her brother PJ, Swinford.

Dearly beloved mother of Jackie and Caroline, Frank, Aidan and Paul.

Sadly missed by son-in-law Pat, daughter-in-law Sally, grandchildren Ciara, Eoin, Ronan, Amy, Tom and Donnacha, sister-in-law Biddy Gallagher (Ballaghaderreen), nieces, nephews, her carers, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis.

Mary will be removed from her home on Monday to St. James’ Church, Carracastle arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 3pm, followed by interment in Carracastle cemetery.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Palliative Care Team at MUH - c/o Tom Sharkey & Sons, Funeral Directors

However, in line with Government and H.S.E advice regarding public gatherings, a small private funeral will be held.

The Davy family would ask that over the coming days, everyone who knew her would take some time to light a candle or say a prayer in her memory.

For those who would have liked to attend the Mass but cannot due to the current restrictions, Mary’s Mass will be live streamed on 'Sharkey Funeral Directors Facebook page'.
