Billy Horan,

Neale Road, Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo (15th February 2022) aged 89, suddenly at Mayo University Hospital surrounded by his heartbroken family.

Predeceased by his loving wife Ina in January 2021, brothers Aidan (New Jersey), Frank (Luton) and Con (Limerick).

He will be sadly missed by his sons Michael (Dublin), Liam (Ballinrobe) and Maurice (Tralee), daughters Liz Bree (Westport) and Sara (Ballinrobe), son-in-law Paul, daughters-in-law Teresa, Noreen and Bríd, adoring grandchildren Dara (Westport and Boston), Patrick and Fiona (Westport), Sinead, Michelle and Emma (Dublin), Ina, Kimberley, Jean and Murray (Tralee), sisters, Maura Roche (Moate) and Carmel Biggins (Ballinrobe), sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, loyal neighbours and a wide and cherished circle of friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at Cummins Funeral Home, Ballinrobe on Thursday from 5pm until 7.30pm.

Removal from his residence on Friday to St. Mary’s Church, Ballinrobe for Funeral Mass at 12 noon.

Burial afterwards in New Cemetery.

Funeral Mass will be streamed live on Ballinrobe Parish Facebook page (https://bit.ly/3LBruI7).

Over 5 years at Ballinrobe CBS, I had the good fortune to be one of his students for English and Latin lessons – which were so enlightening. As a result, there is much for which to be forever grateful – and I will always be so.
