The crunch Mayo Junior Football championship meeting of Achill & Kilmovee Shamrocks will go ahead as planned at 4pm today.
Kilmovee were adamant that the game should be taking place at a neutral venue and the East Mayo Club had their appeal heard by the Connacht Council last night.
In a statement on their twitter page the club say that their appeal was dismissed on a technicality.
The club went on to say that they are extremely disappointed in this outcome especially for the players and management who have put in a season of hard work up until this point.
