St. Colman’s Claremorris are Connacht GAA PPS Senior A football champions.
They survived late efforts from Summerhill to force extra time, but managed to hold out for a three point win.
Colman’s were six up at the break, 2-5 0-5, thanks to goals from Darragh Beirne and Ciarán Treacy.
Summerhill battled back well thanks to a well worked goal midway through the second half.
The Claremorris school rejoiced at the final whistle, as they keep the Connacht title in Mayo for another year after Gerald’s win last year.
