There was disappointment for the Roscommon Hurlers in their Division 2B Allianz Hurling League opener.
They suffered a two-point defeat to Donegal after the men from the hills hit 1-03 without reply late on to snatch victory.
The Rossies led in this encoutner for long periods and were up by 1-7 to 0-7 at halftime thanks to a converted penalty by Cathal Dolan.
It finished in O'Donnell Park: Donegal 1-13 1-11 Roscommon.
Roscommon will face Mayo in Dr Hyde Park next Saturday at 2pm.
