Mayo footballer Cillian O'Connor and Waterford hurler Stephen Bennett have been named winners of the GAA / GPA Player of the Month Semi-Finals awards.
Cillian is the highest scorer in football championship history and showed his skills again last Sunday when he bagged 4-9 as Mayo defeated Tipperary to set up a Sam Maguire showdown with Dublin on December 19th.
The Player of the Month Semi-Finals award is a special award this year to acknowledge the performances of some of the best GAA talent in what's a shorter than usual inter-county season.
The awards are voted for, by the GPA's membership.
