PayPal is cutting 85 jobs in Ireland.

The financial tech company says it informed employees today - but says the proposed cuts are subject to consultation and no redundancies will take effect until that process has concluded.

In January, PayPal announced plans to cut around 2,500 jobs - or 9 per cent - of its global workforce.
