Details

One of the two men arrested in connection with the €120,000 MDMA seizure in Mayo on Tuesday has been charged.

According to Gardaí, the man in his 20s appeared before a special sitting of Castlebar District Court yesterday afternoon.

The second arrested male, also in his 20s, has been released without charge.

A file to the Director of Public Prosecutions is pending.

Investigations are ongoing.
