SSE Airtricity customers are set for cut in rates.
The electricity and gas supplier has announced a 10 per cent cut in domestic electricity rates and a similar decrease for domestic gas.
The cuts will be effective from the first of July, and represent a second price decrease this year.
The reductions will see a typical dual fuel customer save 254 euro, including VAT, per year.
