Details

The Funeral Mass will take place today for a young man who died tragically in Mayo last week following a road traffic collision.

18 year old Kacper Swierkowski, of 43 Knockaphunta Park, Castlebar, died on Wednesday last after a collision involving a motorbike on the R309 at Cloonkeen near to Castlebar.

Mr. Swierkowski was a student in the nearby Davitt College, and also worked in a local sports shop.

His remains will be removed from Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home in Castlebar this morning, and walked to the Church of the Holy Rosary, Castlebar for mass at 11:30am.

A private cremation will follow.

The mass will be live streamed on www.churchtv.ie/castlebar and on the Castlebar Parish Radio Channel 105.3fm.
