This World Book Day there's an emphasis on making reading accessible to children in all environments.
Schools will be giving out vouchers that kids can use to get 1 euro 50 off a book of their choice, and McDonald's will be including vouchers in their happy meals.
Children's Books Ireland and An Post have also partnered up to gift books to children who may not have access to buying them themselves.
