Details

The Health Minister claims the number of people left waiting on trolleys so far this year is half last year's figure.


However, figures from the INMO show the number of people waiting has actually risen.


According the nursing union's Trolley Watch service, 454 people were waiting for a bed in Irish hospitals on Friday - compared to 438 on the same day last year.


However, Minister Stephen Donnelly claims progress is being made...
