The Justice Minister denies the Government backed down to protesters outside accommodation centres which are due to house asylum seekers.
Two centres in Carlow and Balinrobe in county Mayo were due to take in international protection applicants which were all men, which led to protests in both areas.
However, that was changed with both centres now taking in families instead.
Justice Minister Helen McEntee says the Government has always committed to housing women and children first....
