A Mayo woman has featured on the first episode of the year on RTÉ's First Dates.
24 year old Siobhán from Castlebar was one of the eight people who went on a date in last night's season opener.
She was matched up with 27 year old James from Cavan, in an interesting double-date type scenario.
Athlone native Stephen (28) came with his 'wingman' James, and met Siobhán and another girl, 26 year old Jade from Newry.
The four were unaware of who would be paired up with who until the waiter showed Stephen and Jade to their table.
It was revealed at the end of the programme that the four went on to enjoy drinks at a bar later that night following their successful dates.
