The long awaited agri-food regulator will be formally established for the first time today.
The independent body will be in charge of analysing the business relationship between farmers and shops who buy their products.
Farmers have often complained they're paid too little for their produce.
Chairperson of the new regulator, Joe Healy, says they'll carry out enforcement on retailers if necessary.
