The Taoiseach has promised to provide financial support to those affected by a freak tornado in Leitrim village.
Substantial damage has been caused to homes, businesses and public areas following Storm Fergus yesterday,
Leo Varadkar has been meeting locals on a visit to the village today.
He says a dedicated package of supports will require Cabinet approval, but some assistance will be offered in the short-term.
