Met Eireann has issued a status yellow rain warning for all counties of Connacht and Munster from this evening.
The rain warning comes into effect at 6pm this evening (Sunday) and will remain in place until 4am on Tuesday morning.
Met Eireann says rain will be heavy at times with the possibility of thunder.
This could lead to localised flood and difficult travelling conditions
