A man has died following an incident at Lacken Pier yesterday morning.
Gardaí, emergency services and the Coast Guard attended the scene of an incident which occurred in the water at Lacken Pier in Beltra.
The incident occurred at approximately 10.40am when two men had entered the water.
One of these men, a man in his 70s, later passed away.
The second man, also in his 70s, is continuing to receive treatment at Sligo University Hospital.
