Mayo Fianna Fail Senator Lisa Chambers is keen to run as an MEP for this constituency in the next European Elections.

She told Midwest Radio News that she would love to be selected by Fianna Fail to contest next year's European elections.

She says, however, that until the new constituency boundaries are announced nationally for Europe, no party selection convention is likely to take place.
