A Mayo Doctor has spoken of her shock following a crash in Kenya which has killed over 50 people.
Dr Noreen Lineen Curtis has visited the area in Kenya many times with the charity Brighter Communities Worldwide.
The accident occurred at the end of June, when a truck came off road and hit vehicles and market traders in the area of Londiani, which is about 200km away from the capital city of Nairobi.
The area of Londiani has strong links with Mayo, as many hospital staff have travelled over in recent years in volunteer in Kenyan hospitals.
