Tubbercurry Family and Childcare Resource Centre has been awarded €24,000 from the RTE Toy Show Appeal grants for 2023 by Community Foundation Ireland.

The grant will be used to fund a Creativity and Play Programme in both elements of the Resource Centre and help to change children’s lives for good in South Sligo.

The Creativity and Play Programme aims to provide an arts programme & opportunities for more than 150 children who are socially &economically disadvantaged. 

The programme will enhance their personal & emotional development and enable them to overcome the challenges they face living in rural South Sligo
