Details

A Status Yellow Thunderstorm & Rainfall Warning has been introduced for 15 counties across the country.

Galway and Roscommon are the only counties in the region that are included.

The warning extends to Cavan, Monaghan, Clare, Limerick, Tipperary, Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly and Westmeath.

Met Éireann is warning that spot flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions could come as possible impacts.

The warning is in place until 10:00pm tonight.
