
Patients presenting at Emergency Departments at hospital across the region are facing significant delays today.
According to today’s Trolley Watch figures, from the INMO, there are 43 patients waiting for beds in Sligo University Hospital,
35 patients waiting on trolleys for admission in University Hospital Galway, 24 patients on trolleys at Mayo University Hospital and 1 patient on a trolley waiting for admission in Portiuncla University Hospital.
Nationally today there are 470 admitted patients waiting for hospital beds, with the highest number on trolleys at University Hospital Limerick, where 85 patients are waiting on trolleys.
