Details

Exactly six weeks out from the start of the Leaving Cert exams, students have yet to receive a date to collect their results.

They're traditionally issued in the middle of August, but that was delayed until September last year.

The State Examinations Commission says it's still considering a commitment from the Education Minister that there will be 'no cliff edge' drop in results from 2022.

Guidance Counsellor Betty McLoughlin says having no results date means they can't plan for third level - particularly around housing...
