Details

We are now just one week removed from the visit of US President Joe Biden to County Mayo.

During his tour of the county, he visited the Mayo Roscommon Hospice, where he turned the sod on the site for construction in 2017.

Since then, further good news has been announced for hospice services in the west of Ireland with an extension to the North West Hospice in Sligo.

12 more beds have been confirmed for the location, which will extend its capacity to 20 beds.
