There are 142 people without a bed in hospitals across Connacht according to today’s INMO trolley watch figures.

The most amount waiting are at Sligo University Hospital, of which there are 42 people.

41 people are waiting at Mayo University Hospital, and 38 at University Hospital Galway.

There are 21 people waiting at Portiuncla Hospital in Galway also.

Nationally, the figure is 541, with 390 of the total waiting in Emergency Departments.

12 of those are under the age of 16.
