
The country has been battered by strong winds and heavy rain overnight, and there's more to come.
A status orange wind warning is now in effect for Cork and Kerry, with yellow alerts coming into force for the entire country from 8 o'clock this morning.
But the north-west should be prepared for the worst of the gusts.
