
The Taoiseach and Housing Minister need to clarify if they were aware of the number of eviction notices issued in Mayo in the last 6 months.
That's according to Erris based TD Rose Conway Walsh.
128 eviction notices were issued in county Mayo in the second half of 2022.
The Sinn Fein Deputy says that as of now, only 32 properties are available to rent in the county and emergency accommodation cannot be got, so most of those people who have been evicted will now be left with nowhere to go.
She also says there has been a €1 billion euro underspend since 2020 for the allocation of additional social and affordable housing units across the country.
