The eviction ban - which ended on April 1st - has split the Irish public.
A new poll from tax specialists 'Tax Back' has found 53 percent of people surveyed disagree with the government's decision NOT to extend the ban ....BUT 47 percent support them lifting it.
Overall, more than two in five support the lifting of the ban - one in five want to see evictions banned altogether - and two in five are worried about how they will AFFORD their rent.
