The Education Minister is being warned the clock is ticking when it comes to addressing teacher staffing demands this September.

The Irish National Teachers' Organisation says pay will be top of the agenda at its annual conference next week, with staff struggling with an increased workload.

The INTO is welcoming Minister Norma Foley's acknowledgement that teachers are facing an increased challenge, with the cost of living crisis.
