A joint water safety appeal is being issued this Easter Bank Holiday Weekend for people heading out on the water.

Three organisations have come together to urge people to seek safety advice before embarking on any water activities.

The Coast Guard, RNLI and Water Safety Ireland have said it's important to follow procedures as higher than normal tides are expected.
